LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has said that those who wronged
a woman victim in a motorway rape case will have to suffer severe punishment.
In his message on social networking
site Twitter, the Punjab Chief Minister said that providing security and
justice to the citizens is the responsibility of the state, our manifesto is to
create a society where day or night, women and children are alone or their
families.
At the same time, they feel safe,
there will be justice in the motorway case and those who wronged the victim
will be severely punished.
On the other hand, it has been
reported that the investigation into the incident of the gang rape of a woman on
the motorway has made great progress where about 12 suspects have been
arrested, with the help of detectives, CCTV footage, and DNA. Is being
investigated.
According to details, after the woman
was raped on the Lahore Motorway, the investigation of the case has been
started in which great progress has been made.
About 12 suspects involved in the
gang-rape have been arrested, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shahbaz
Gul said. In his tweet, he said that the CCOP Lahore was leading an
investigation team on the direction of the Punjab Chief Minister. Urban and
