Details of the alleged main accused in the motorway abuse case have come to light
The accused raped the mother and daughter during the robbery in 2013. After the case was pending for 6 months, the accused had reconciled with the plaintiff by threatening to draw.
Lahore (Urdu Point News Latest. September 12, 2020) Significant progress has
been made in the investigation of the Lahore Motorway abuse case, the DNA of one
accused has been matched. The alleged main accused Abid is a resident of Fort
Abbas area of Bahawalnagar.
I was involved in the incident of gang rape of mother and daughter during the robbery. The accused along with 4
of his accomplices had committed this incident. After the case was pending for
6 months, the accused had reconciled with the plaintiff by threatening to draw.
Fearing notoriety, the family had
also left the area. Accused Abid and his family had left the area under
pressure from locals. The accused Abid and his family had moved from Fort Abbas
to Changa Manga five years ago. The accused's family is said to be involved in
the crime as they have also killed their sister.
The accused is the father of a daughter, while he had a marriage of choice.
On the other hand, the preliminary
investigation report of the motorway abuse case was submitted to Punjab Chief
Minister Usman Bazdar. According to media sources, the report submitted to the
Chief Minister states that one accused has been identified in the motorway
abuse case.
The accused Abid Malhi is a resident of Fort Abbas. There is already a criminal record of the accused matching the DNA of the accused with the DNA database of 2013. However, Abid Malhi has not been arrested yet. The CTD took action for this purpose.
The meeting, chaired by the Chief
Minister, was also attended by Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat, Chief
Secretary, IG Punjab, and Additional Chief Secretary Home, in which the progress
made so far in the motorway abuse case was reviewed.
On the occasion, Punjab Chief
Minister Usman Bazdar said that the accused involved in this tragic incident
will not escape punishment, will not leave China until justice is provided to
the affected family as it is the responsibility of the state to provide
immediate justice to the victims. Punjab Police will provide services till the
deployment of Motorway Police.
